Family:  I am married to my wife, Stephanie.  She is employed through Sanford Health and has been employed by Sanford Health for almost 15 years.  We have two boys named Gunnar and Slayton.  They are currently at the young ages of 5 and 4 and attending Kindergarten and Preschool. 

Teaching History:  I am a 1996 graduate of Canton High School.  I attended Mankato State University and graduated with my BS degree in 2001.  I then went on to get my Masters in Education from the University of Sioux Falls in 2008.  In 2005, I received my first teaching position at Sioux Falls Washington High School as a Behavioral Specialist.  In 2008, I moved out west and was hired as a 6th grade Social Studies and Reading teacher for the Douglas School District.  I was employed through them for the next five years.  In 2013, I was hired by the Canton School District as a teacher for the Alternative School Program, where I am blessed to work with an amazing staff and students.
